Privacy

This site keeps simple, anonymous visit statistics so I can see which pages are useful: the page you open, how long it stays open, how far you scroll, which links you click, short pieces of text you copy from the page, whether you print it or switch back to its tab, your rough location (country and city), device type, browser, screen size, language, time zone, how quickly the page loaded and the site that sent you here. While a page is open it is updated every so often, so I can see how many people are on the site at a time.

To see the kind of network a visit comes from, the IP address is checked once with ipapi.is, a network lookup service. Only the name of the network (for example an internet provider, a company or a university) and whether it is a mobile, VPN or data-centre connection are kept.

No cookies are used for this and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is never saved; it is only used for that lookup and mixed into an anonymous code that changes every day, so visits can't be linked over time or back to you. The data is not shared or sold.

My other websites (AI World 2050, Civilisation, Essential Laws, Car Blueprint and Word Box) keep the same anonymous statistics in the same way, and send them here. This page covers them too.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no statistics are collected at all. Questions? Email ehmddi@gmail.com.
